• What we’ll do
In partnership with Indivisible West Suburban Action League, Indivisible – Southwest Huddlers, and local grassroots leaders, Indivisible Illinois is excited to offer

Campaign Training: Introduction to Political Campaigns
Friday, January 12 at 6:00 – 7:45pm
Evergreen Park, IL 60805

No matter how many millions of dollars are spent on a political campaign, they can’t buy more time. Every day for a campaign is precious and our time is valuable so lets dive in.
We will answer these questions:
With the hundreds of campaigns across the state, what questions should I ask before I volunteer or endorse one?
How can I tell if a campaign I am working on has a winning strategy?
How are political campaigns similar and different from an issue campaign?
What terms should I know that will allow me to understand campaign jargon?

What we will cover:
Calculating your win number and vote goal.
The most Important dates to know.
Targeting voters and strategies for effective outreach.
Reading a field plan.
Setting expectations for campaign life.
Sample Endorsement Survey

Indivisible Illinois does not coordinate with campaigns. Indivisible Illinois has not endorsed any candidates at this time. This training is not an endorsement for any campaign and will not be used for recruitment for any campaigns. Your contact info will never be shared with any political campaigns. Attempts were made to reach out to several campaigns for experts. The speaker for this event was chosen from the responses base on experience and deep personal interest in training the grassroots movement.
